About Noe Valley Bakery

When we opened our doors in 1995, we set out to be one of the best bakeries in San Francisco. We had a mission: to create a place where everything is made from scratch on premise, and baked by people standing 10 feet away from customers.

House Cakes, Birthday Cakes, Breads, Cupcakes, Mini Cupcakes, Scones, Pies, and other holiday items are available seasonally.

All of our coffee beverages start with Mr. Espresso, a fellow family-owned Bay Area company that hand-roasts their beans using oak wood, adding a special quality to every cup. We hand make our own vanilla bean syrup and caramel sauces, and use only local Orange Blossom Honey in our our Honey Milk Tea. Whatever fills your mug, it will be local tastes that will warm your soul.

No photos because I ate everything too fast. I usually only indulge on cheesecake and croissants so I’ve only had a handful of treats here. They’re all dynamite. My personal favorite has been the twice baked almond croissant. Perfect flaky, buttery texture on the outside with just the right level of chewiness on the inside. The sweet almond flavor is perfect. Not too sweet, just on point. I ask for it to get reheated and I usually eat it within 60 seconds of leaving the shop. Great vibes from the workers too. Just go here if need a treat/gift/emotional release from the stress of life.

It was the perfect location to pick up a cake for my son's 18th birthday! Which is why we're were in San Francisco. The cases were full of some of the freshest & delicious looking French pastries, sourdough bread loaf varieties, cakes & cupcakes. We went with the strawberry cream. They even put a Happy Birthday message on it for him! The cake was delicious too boot!

Took my nieces to pick up a cake for my brother’s birthday and was surprised by the lineup. Apparently, this is the spot for cakes and sourdough. We ended up getting an assortment of small cake pieces and every single one was delicious. Personally, my favorite was the little lemon tartlet. We also grabbed an olive sourdough loaf, which was absolutely delicious.

This bakery is a true gem for anyone with a sweet tooth and a sense of adventure. The cupcakes stand out with wonderfully unique flavors—each bite is both exciting and delicious. Beyond cupcakes, the fresh croissants, buttery pastries, quiche, and artisan bread are all equally satisfying and proof of the bakery’s skill and creativity. Prices are refreshingly affordable, making it easy to indulge in a variety of treats.

I absolutely love their Financier Tartlets! The cardamom knot is also great and their brownies are yummy too! I come here for decadent treats to keep me strong throughout the tough work day!
